Teeth in place – the brain works
Teeth play an important role for a comfortable meal, providing brain activity and good memory at an adolescent age. At the universities of Sweden, as well as the Institute of Clinical Dentistry in Norway, they concluded on the role of chewing teeth.
Thanks to the experiment on 55-80 years old participants in the number of 270 people who underwent numerous tests aimed at memorization, reaction and reflexes, experts determined that the teeth directly affect the brain productivity. The number of volunteer teeth averaged 22 teeth, with a norm of 32 teeth. All results and conclusions were based on the individuality of each of the participants: indicators of health, education and age. Thanks to the research, it was determined that the teeth perform the function of “point” or “dash” (Morse code): while the signal from the tooth to the brain is transmitted through the nerve channels, the brain regions work, but as soon as the tooth is removed – the brain area reduces activity. Today the functional dentures can not completely replace the ability of our teeth to activate the regions of the brain, so we must take care of our root teeth and do not overlook preventive visits to the dentist.
